Greetings, Virginia local REALTORĀ® association execs, and welcome to the new AE2AE format. It’s a quasi-newsletter/quasi-blog that I hope will facilitate information sharing and conversation among us. I’ve taken the liberty of subscribing you to a daily email digest of posts to this site. If you prefer, you may also subscribe to the RSS feed that will send news directly to your feedreader within minutes of a post going up.
The idea is to provide you news more timely and in a manner that doesn’t require me to catalog and store up a bunch of items before I send them to you. This way, I can post info as the need arises, and you’ll receive it (and can respond) timely.
If you like the daily digest, there’s nothing you need to do; you’re already set to receive them. If you’re interested in the RSS feed but aren’t sure how to set it up, just call that know-it-all Dave Phillips VAR’s Mike Shepherd and he can help you set-up a feedreader. Either way, it’s free.
One scary important feature of this new format is the ability for you to comment and share your perspective on any post here. Note that to comment, you’ll have to click through to the actual site (ae2ae.wordpress.com). You can’t comment directly from the email digest or RSS feed.
Let me know what you think of the new format.
Like this approach. Beats, trying to remember which VAR folder I placed your post in, or what the subject matter concerned, or just plain having to search. Sometimes even searching from the seat of one’s pants (or skirt) is grueling.
Thanks Winsome. Hope others feel as you do and this new approach proves helpful.
I think this is fantastic. I just want assurance that it is strictly AE2AE, no REALTORS. If so, I love it.
Jeanette, Jeanette, Jeanette… there is NOTHING that is posted on the Internet that is private. You can put up all the firewalls and sign-on verifications and such, but you will never be able to keep things quiet. The rule of thumb here and everywhere is don’t post what you aren’t willing to share with EVERYONE.
Yours truely,
The Know-it-all
